Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe is the second installment of the Hathaway trilogy and continues directly from the first film.
After escaping the events of the previous battle, Hathaway continues operating as the leader of Mafty while expanding the anti-Federation movement. At the same time, the Earth Federation intensifies its crackdown, with Kenneth leading the pursuit against Mafty.

Set in U.C. 0105, twelve years after Char’s Rebellion, the Earth Federation government has become increasingly corrupt and oppressive, forcing civilians into space.
